As a general rule, it tends to take about 2 weeks to get your results but there can be variations from one area to another. You were told 2-3 weeks so perhaps you can wait a few more days and if you haven't heard anything by the end of next week, it wouldn't hurt to give them a call. Everything crossed for you!
