  • Hello Gabby123456 and welcome to Cancer Chat,

What a wonderful passionate message of support to the NHS. I really enjoyed reading this - it's so nice to hear positive stories that your mother is 90 years old and still going strong despite a lung cancer diagnosis last year.

I hope your biopsy went well yesterday and that it wasn't too painful. It won't be long hopefully until you get your results back. Keep us updated if you get a moment - we'll be keeping everything tightly crossed for you.

As you rightly said, it's hard to find the right words to express our gratitude to all these NHS angels who selflessly look after their patients and it does sound that you had such a wonderful experience which really helps when going through something so difficult. I am so glad you and your mother have had such outstanding care.

We'll be thinking of you as you are waiting for your results!

    Best wishes,

    Lucie, Cancer Chat Moderator
