So Worried Please Someone talk to me

HI Emma,

I can relate to your fears. I am also worried about my situation but I dont have anyone to talk to. I will get results of an X-Ray on Thursday too. This forum is helping me feel a bit more calm.

It must be very hard after giving birth so recently and with a family that depends on you.

We are both waiting for thusday it is not that far away but it feels like a lifetime at the same time. I am doing some breathing exercises which are helping, and spending time on forums instead of dr google. Dr google is an awful place to spend time.

Wishing you the very best xx

a lot of lumps are definitely not cancer I see this lots on this forum 8 out of 10 have clear results , please try not to worry easier said than done I no did you get a ultrasound?

    love Lara ️

  • Emma

did you go to the breast clinic or to your Gp ?

  • I just read your post again I see now so you are awaiting biopsy results sorry I thought I read it wrong when you said ultrasound results I waited 7 days for my biopsy results , so if you got until Thursday this week that's very quick fair play although it don't sound quick or go quick I went private and it's 7 days I no some clinics are up to 14 days which is horrendous.

    love Lara

no the breast cancer I had and early stage didn't require chemo lots don't I had radiotherapy and 2 operations one to remove the lump and one to remove my lymph nodes and I now take a hormone blocker tablet daily .

Pmeaae don't worry about these things I no it's hard your lump can be lots of things and not cancer my lovely x

  • Emma

It maybe something to do with your breast change as you have not long had a baby did the breast clinic think it could be something to do with this x

    Hi Emma,

A very warm welcome to our forum and congratulations on the safe arrival of your new baby.

You undergo a lot of changes in your breasts when you have a baby, so here's hoping that your symptoms are to do with this and not anything more sinister.

Waiting for results is always a difficult time  and we tend to think of all sorts of scenarios. Try to take things one day at a time and don't look too far into a future, that hopefully, might never happen. There are a number of different types of breast cancer and they all need different treatments. Likewise, there are different types of chemo, to treat some of them.

I have had 2 bouts of breast cancer in the past 13 years and I never had chemo. I took Tamoxifen for 1 year, then after the second bout, I changed over to Letrozole. I have had a lumpectomy and a double mastectomy and I still continue to lead a busy and fulfilling life.

Do please keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on. We are always here for you.

Will be thinking of you on Thursday and keeping my fingers crossed!

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx

  • Hi RM80,

A very warm welcome to our forum.

I have read your post elsewhere on the forum and just wanted to let you know that we all appreciate how worried you are. Waiting for results is always an anxious time, but especially so, when you have nobody to talk to. Fortunately, it is not too long until Thursday, although I know that it'll feel like a lifetime for you.

I sincerely hope that there is a simpler solution and that nothing untoward is found. Please keep in touch and let us know how you get on. We are always here for you.

    Kind regards,

    Jolamine xx
