Since August I have been having a day of spotting around about 2 weeks after my period. The bleeding is only visible when I wipe and is usually a pale pink colour and not a big amount. On the months that I get this spotting, my cycles tend to go on for at least 45 days. The months that I don't get the spotting my cycles last for around 32 days. I have been to the GP who did an internal and said my cervix looked perfectly healthy, I had a normal smear in Jan 2022 and I have also recently had a pelvic ultrasound which was also completely normal. I know these are all really reassuring but I'm still struggling to accept that everything is fine without any explanation of what could be going on. I had the spotting again 2 weeks ago but this time it lasted for a few days on and off. I have spoken to the GP again today to explain that I'm still concerned but she is adamant that everything is fine. Has anyone been through the same and had any explanation of what could be going on? I'm thinking of going for a private colposcopy if I'm able to.
