Hi l have had sore breasts for years  my problems are with the milk ducts, duct ectasia, lumpy and feeling like wires when inflamed. I've had lots of operations and lots of antibiotics and also a breast reduction to remove as much of the lower part of my breasts as possible and hopefully remove the ducts. Its always been benign fortunately. Just n uncomfortable 
The breast clinic are really helpful l have an open appointment so can ring to get the next available appointment.  I hope your scan goes well
