It's only natural you feel worried & spaced out. Life can feel surreal when under this type of pressure. 

We all cope in different ways. 

But you know what?..

What if you get the all-clear? 

What if you don't need to frequent forums of this nature moving forward?

What if you manage to have a wonderful Xmas regardless? 

What if most colon tests come back negative, & yours does too? 

I like to play the "what if" game. 

Most people do this to the negative & make themselves feel worse in the process. 

You're right, some of the chats here are scary. 

Mine was two years ago & it was too. 

But what if yours isn't? (scary) 

I'm not trying to discount your feelings, only help to show you another perspective. 

A good friend of mine has just had an operation for colon cancer, it went well & they expect her to make a full recovery.
