Hi, I'm new and am at the start of a possible diagnosis of cancer. I don't know for sure, I'll be seeing the GP on Monday morning but I have a feeling from somewhere deep inside that I have cancer. I hope I'm wrong but something is telling me I'm not.
For a long time I've had abdominal pain, feeling unwell, loose stools on and off and nausea every now and then. In the last couple of weeks the nausea is a lot more frequent, I get the nausea every day and I have started bleeding when passing stool and also bleeding at random times from my bum, it can be very embarrassing depending where I am at the time.
I know this can be lots of things other than cancer but I've had a friend who had this and also my sister and Gran both had cancer. On Friday I felt a lump on the right side of my abdomen, to the right of my belly button but higher than it. It feels hard and doesn't move, can be painful at times. That's when I called the GP and now have appointment first thing on Monday morning.
I've noticed the symptoms have got steadily worse this last month and new like the frequent bleeding and lump have appeared.
I'm praying and hoping it's not cancer. But I have an awful feeling I already know it is. I'm only 26 but my friend was 24 when she was diagnosed so I am a bit worried.
I'll know more Monday. I should get a lot of answers then.
