You did well to book an appointment to see your GP when you noticed the mole was starting to itch. Did you manage to talk to the GP about it? 

Unfortunately no one here will be able to tell you what this mole might be but as you felt an itch and you've noticed it's back, the best thing to do really is to book another GP appointment and have them look at it. 

So do make an appointment as soon as you can just for peace of mind as it's always best to get these things checked by a doctor. 

I hope that you will hear from other forum members who have been in a similar situation and that they will come and share their experience with you.
