Welcome to the Cancer Chat community Julie although I'm sorry to hear about the tumour in your lung.

I know this must be very scary but I'm glad you've joined us as many of our members have been on this journey, so you are not alone, and hopefully some of them will be along soon to share their experiences and advice.

I know you've been doing some research already but I just thought I'd share some information we have about this surgery as well. I hope it's useful but if you'd like to talk things through with one of our cancer nurses, you can contact them on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m. They're very supportive and will do all they can to put your mind at ease.
