Help needed

Hi, Im completely new to this but i really really need some advice. I will mention i suffer with extreme health anxiety but i am loosing my mind with worry. I am 33.

2 weeks ago i noticed some stomach cramping like a period, my period before this was normal. I went to the doctor who examined me internally and said cervix and ovaries were fine. I was still not reassured so i went to ER, they done a urine test and doctor felt my tummy and all was fine. The pain continued and is in either side of my ovaries, low down in my pelvis. I begged my doctor for blood tests so had a ca125 blood and a FBC, both have come back clear. My smear test was a year ago, that was clear, and i also had a scan 11 months ago (for other reasons) and that was fine too. However when i went back to my doctor yesterday she did another internal exam and found what she thinks is a bulky cervix. She reassured me as best as she can but at that point i had gone into overdrive and i still am. I cant eat, cant sleep, crying constantly. I am convinced i now have cervical cancer and cant cope. Other symptoms are constipation/diorreah.
I would really really appreciate if anyone can help me or even give me some insights as to if this sounds sinister.

thanks x

  • Hi Close, tried to send you a reply last night, unsuccessfully. Receiving word that something is amiss is bound to make you react the way you have. You have every right to feel the way you do. You have to get this sorted one way or another, not knowing is the very worst thing ever. If it's cancer, you will deal with it, you're stronger than you think, you can and will cope. You must pursue this, keep at it until you get answers. Have you had a biopsy done?  Try another doctor. It may not be cancer but you must have tests one way or another.  You can cope, you will cope. Nancy.
