Hi first time posting here.

My name is Mel I am 52

When I got my letter 13th Nov 22

I thought not again as I had precancerous cells back in 1999. I have had normal smears since then until now.

I had my smear test last year. Result was HPV.

I then had another smear 18th Oct this year.

Yesterday I received my results HPV and boarder line cells. Now waiting on colposcopy.

But reading all your post have really helped me relax a bit about this whole thing.

So thank you for making a scary situation not seem so scary xx

I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had some abnormal cervical screening results. It's understandable that you may be feeling concerned but it's really nice to hear that you've found some positive support through reading posts here on the forum.
Hopefully you won't have to wait too long for your colposcopy appointment. In the meantime, you may want to have a look at some of the information on the Jo's Trust website.

Hi Jenn thank you so much for replying to my post.
I have read you jo trust I found the info very useful
I am also feeling less nervous about the colposcopy.
I know I have already been here before but still makes you worry.
Jo trust gave me great relief knowing what to expect and why I have been invited for a colposcopy.
