Hi all!
I'm looking for some guidance / advice from others regarding a lump I recently discovered in my right thigh.
I was showering one day, and discovered a lump the size of a golf ball roughly 6 inches down from my pelvis on my inner right thigh
Being a typical man, I left it assuming it to be either a cyst or a hernia. A few weeks went by, and it grew relatively larger ( nearly the size of a tennis ball currently ) , so I gathered seeking medical advice would be wise.
I booked an appointment at my local GP surgery, and he was rather baffled. He asked a second doctor to look, who also couldn't figure out what it was. I was referred to the hospital for an ultrasound scan last Thursday, in which 3 seperate doctors couldn't figure out what it was. Next step from the hospital's end is to send me off for an MRI scan ( currently waiting ) .
Now, Mr Google does offer advice, however it can be very misleading. The lump itself is pretty rock hard, and gives me 0 pain other than maybe sitting on a nerve. I have had a relatively rubbish immune system for years, I consistently sweat buckets ( no exaggeration ) .
I'm not one to worry, nor am I worried about the out come either way, but it would be great to chat to some people who have had similar experiences.
Any help would be great
