It all started beginning of September, felt a lump in neck was size of a peanut then increased to a grape size , went to docs 20th Sept did a full check over me and sent me for bloods and a referral with a 2ww , bloods was OK other than slightly high white blood cells . Went to my hospital app and met the ent on 4th October he felt the lump , listed all other symptom i have ( fatigue) sweating more than usual , bones hurting and aching , itchy hands and head breathlessness and feeling like someone is standing on my chest at times , he then said i needed a scan . they did scan and immediately they took a fna biopsy , The results was ready within an hour but they indicated some abnormalities of white blood cells they then said I needed a bigger biopsy called a core biopsy to see exactly what they are dealing with . He said it could be a underlying infection somewhere but definitely couldn't rule out lymphoma at this stage , within days I had an appointment to see the maxillofacial surgeon for the 1st Nov, then had my core biopsy appointment through which is for 25th Oct.... has anyone had all this done and what was the outcome ? Lymphoma, something else, nothing at all or just a hidden infection ? Thanks for reading x
