hi I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016 I had a lumpectomy chemotherapy and radiotherapy, in 2019 this had spread to my bones causing a pelvic fracture I had radiotherapy for pain in 2022 nodules were found on one of my lungs I suffered extreme breathlessness they drained 620ml of fluid but 2 weeks later I couldn’t breathe , I had a pleurodesis on 4 October 2022 they drained a further 900ml of fluid I have been home from hospital for a couple of weeks but I’m finding it difficult to walk even a couple of feet without becoming breathless I honestly though that having this operation would have made a difference but it seems I’m back to square one !
has anymore else had this operation or any advice they can share
