Post menopausal bleeding

Hi, I am 50 and have not had any periods so nice I was 37 (went through the menopause quite young) I have started to bleed today, and have what feel like period cramping (although it's been that long, I'm not sure I remember what they felt like ) I will contact my GP tomorrow, but feeling worried

Hi. I think you're doing the right thing getting this checked by your GP, but try not to worry as there are lots of reasons this could happen. Try to distract yourself today and let us know how it goes tomorrow x

Thank you for your response. I just got quite a shock when I noticed it. I've googled everything which I know really isn't helpful, as I'm now consumed with worry. Will let you know how I get on. X

You're not alone in that, I think most of us have checked out Google and wished we hadn't. I've made my mind up to stop looking, particularly today as I'm due for tests tomorrow. Take care and let me know what your GP says x
