Hey Laraj,
I just came across your post and wanted to wish you all the best with your chemo and the cold cap.
Hopefully some of our members who have had this treatment at home will share their experiences and advice with you soon but if you'd like to discuss any of this with one of our cancer nurses, you can give them a call from Tuesday onwards on 0808 800 4040. Their phone lines are open between 9a.m - 5p.m and they'll do all they can to help and answer any questions you have about this.
Kind regards,
Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
Thank you Steph x
Hi, yes I'm having EC at home using the cold cap. After 2 sessions my hair is very thin, and owing to the nausea and extra 2 hours for the cold cap, I'm not continuing with it. As it's through insurance, I thought it was worth a try as there was nothing to lose.
