Hi jones123, I'm new too. I found a large lump in my breast so went to doctors they then referred me to breast clinic where I had a mammogram.  Went back the following week to see consultant and she examined me. My lump is 6cms in length. Then had scan and biopsy.  I've been diagnosed as having stage 2 breast cancer. I have shooting pains in my breast and my armpit is a bit uncomfortable now and again. I'm due to have mastectomy and lymph glands removed on 9th September.  I understand that you must be scared as I was and still am. I'm 47 years old and single mother of 3 boys. i wouldn't think it would change in size that quick , I have BC but didn't have any pain in armpit or kneck hope that helps xx

The pain is just like a dull ache and a ooo that hurt kind of pain if that makes sence   if you don't mind me asking did you have other symptoms? Unfortunately I am to young to have a mammogram as the age is 40 

I have 2 kids one of each.

No I didn't have any other symptoms. It's a shame that you are too young to have a mammogram but if it is anything then I'm sure the scan will show it up.
