  • Hi,

I hope you're feeling better now. Feom my experience, yes its totally normal to get diarrhoea. It's actually acommon side effect after a surgery. Even until now, after everything I've been through it's normal for me to have that. The needle for anti coagulation is very small, it usually leaves a dark bruise. When injecting, I normally pinch the fatty part of my belly and do it very quick.
I understand the anxiety you feel while waiting but put in mind that you really need to rest and your body is recovering so rest and enough sleep Is a must. Atleast you're body is getting ready and stronger if follow up treatment is needed. It will be over soon don't worry. Hang in there. Sending strength to you.

  • I'm sorry about the symptoms you're currently contending with ShirlT. Hopefully some of our members who have experienced this after their radical hysterectomies will get back to you soon but if you're worried do be sure to get in touch with your GP or medical team.
