im in Kent, I'm hoping that the long wait is a good sign. It will actually be nearly six weeks since I've had the biopsy when I have the appointment. I've already emailed the secretary and will phone in the morning.

Did you have a mammogram and ultra sound too?

I did and I asked the doctor what she thought and she said she didn't like the look of it so I was prepared there and then for the bad news.

Is this the first time you've experienced this?

Hi,

yes I had an ultrasound it's on lymph nodes in my armpit and the lady did say that they was enlarged but looked ok. Because I've previously had thyroid cancer she said she wanted to biopsy to be extra cautious. I also have raised lymph nodes in my neck and groin, neck ones have had an ultrasound and they said they look ok too. It's just been one thing after another

It's such a worry but we're in good hands and there are so many treatments available now.

Once a plan is in place/results are in, it's easier to cope with the journey.

My results were not good news.

I now need a CT scan and following that, a meeting with my surgeon and a treatment plan.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that your results was not good news. I hope your ok and the treatment you receive goes well. It's hard but yes like you said there are so many treatments available now.
