ETnew diagnosis

Waiting for my bmb in a few weeks following  a diagnosis .by default......at this point trlple negative on gene tests and no evidence of   reactive thrombocytosis

It's good to read through past posts on this forum while coming to terms with having this condition and how to go forward with it  Thankyou all for sharing. Im 71 and very active spending as much time as possible enjoying outdoor pursuits with my husband, family and frends. After a month very ill with covid in June my new GP commented on my high platelet count but also that I had run at 430 to 550 for over a decade. I'm type 2 diabetc so have regular bloods taken but no one had ever mentioned my platelet levels before

I'm so grateful she started this investigation  I saw haematologist today.

I hope to learn and share insights and experiences and so glad  to find this forum
