Hi, I'm 52, started combined HRT in March this year as had been experiencing perimenopausal anxiety and brain fog. I was still having periods although they had started to get not quite as frequent. I recently had a ultra sound on my pelvis as I was experiencing discomfort on my right side. The sonographer said I still had some eggs, and said everything looked alright. That afternoon my doctor rang to say my womb lining was 8.5cm and I had a cyst on my right ovary, but she wasn't worried about the cyst. She said she would send me for an urgent referral for the womb thickening. I wasn't too concerned, until I looked at my results on my NHS app which said suspected uterine cancer referral. I am now very worried of what to expect and looking for some reassurance.
