I can’t relax having a smear

Hi there
im 55 yrs old in June this year  I had a smear done at my surgery  I couldn't relax at all I screamed and screamed asked them to stop and they didn't did asked for a small equipment they  didn't get asked them to use KY jelly which they  didn't use was really in a bad way there were 2 nurses only stop for a sec as nurse couldn't do it and other nurse took over I asked could I put my phone on for music was shaking and I couldn't get to put it on  no KY no small equipment keep on screaming as I couldn't relax all she said keep you bum down I couldn't as I can't relax  not looking forward to 5 years time not very happy 

test came back clear 

Im gonna be the same in 5 year times

    I'm very sorry to hear about your recent cervical screening experience. 

    I'd strongly encourage you to contact the GP Surgery Practice manager to feedback on what happened during the appointment. 

    Whilst it's good to hear that your screening results were clear, obviously, you don't want to spend the next 5 years dreading another screening appointment so raising this issue now with the Practice Manager, and potentially making an appointment to speak with a GP now or nearer the time, might be a good idea. 

    I do hope that you are able to get a positive response from the surgery about your concerns and that you're properly supported next time you have a cervical screening appointment.
