I too had bilateral breast cancer and underwent double wide area incisions plus radiotherapy and estrogen blockers.
I know how terrifying this can be but I have to say that I felt better once I knew the extent of the cancer and had a treatment plan to focus on. I felt more in control of my life.
The waiting for results is awful but I put it to the back of my mind and kept myself busy. Worrying won't change anything so do things that make you feel better and let tomorrow take care of itself x
I'm absolutely fine, getting on with life and rarely think about my cancer experience. It's great to wake up every morning and not think about having cancer. You too will get there. Try and focus on the end result - cancer free, rather than the what ifs and maybes. You will come through this x
