stomach cancer worry

hi all, 

 

well to cut a long story short i got diagnosed with h pylori back in june. 

 

ive had upper gi pain under the left rib after triole therapy treatment. ive had all bloods come back normal including amilyaze bloods . you name it theyve tested. 

 

calpacin levels are normal too. 

i still get upper gi burning under the left rib and pressure  . ive now got a ultrasound booked for next week to check liver, pancreas etc . 

 

stools are clear no blood etc. i just dont know whats causing this burning and pressure feeling . i still have foul smelling stools too . this cant be ibs surely ‍♀️

 

any advice would be great im so scared and im not sleeping or eating .

    I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting to find out more and I am sorry to hear this worry has affected your sleep and eating. 

    I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. There are helpful tips on this page to help you cope while waiting for important news.

    I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you. 

    Best of luck for next week for the ultrasound. We're keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.
