Abnormal smear results

I've recently had my first smear, my results came back that I have HPV and 'borderline changes' I've been referred for a colposcopy so I'm currently waiting for my appointment! I'm honestly just so scared and I can't think straight, I don't know what to do or think it's like I'm just on pause

    I had a letter back yesterday too,saying I have HPV and low grade dyskaryosis. I can't assure you of anyhing because it's very new and overwhelming to me too, but I am here if you need a chat. x

    I had my letter last Friday, HPV positive & mine said "borderline changes." Do you have any idea of when your appointment for the colposcopy is? The waiting for the appointment is making my anxiety go through the ceiling! That means a lot!! Thank you! Same goes to you girl, makes me feel less stressed & alone knowing there's somebody else feeling how I do. Stay postive & keep distracted until then, because if you're anything like me it's made my head spin non stop since I found out! Hope you're okay, keep me updated and I'll do the same Xx

    I had my letter on Wednesday this week- I've cried about it, worried about it, cried more. I'm currently waiting for them to get in touch with me to organise a date, the waiting is difficult. I think we're very similar ib the way that we are feeling so lets stay in touch. You can do this!!!!!!xxxxxx
