an accidental find so has to be positive

Hi Everyone,

just want to intorduce myself and et you know my story so far.

I was admited to hospital on 9th June with an appendicitis, and had a CT scan to confirm it, the CT scan showed an anomoly in my tranverse mesentery area of the abdominal area.

today i have had some investigations via gastoscopy and colonoscopy and they have found a probable malignant colonic tumour, in the distal ascending area, (but no where near the original anomoly), they have taken biopsies and i've been told that something like what was seen would normally result in a positive biopsy so i've come to the conclusion that I do have cancer, no doubt theres a few more tests to come to check the severity etc, and we still don't know what the original anomoly is.

although it's bad news i can only thank the hospital staff for finding this as otherwise it could have been far worse in future months/years if left unchecked.

thats me so far, and i'll remain positive throughout
