Hi,

    My partner had a CT scan a month ago, they found a tumor in his colon, with possible spread. 

   Biopsy was inconclusive but he has just undergone surgery to remove the tumor, waiting for the results is horrible! All we can do is hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

         l have been there and have come out the other side,in my case with spread to the liver.You are about to embark on a difficult testing journey,but not an impossible one.Its just awful at the start not knowing where you are heading,but it does get easier once you know the full picture because of the realisation that you need to focus on the here and now,and you can get a grip on your stress levels.At the end of the day you need to trust the healthcare professionals with their experience,stay positive and expect and embrace every slow,small step you take forward,focus on these not the knocks along the way,and keep your expectations realistic with regard to healing times,allow your mind to hear what your body is telling it,and pick carefully the times when to push and when to rest,

 The possibiliities for a recovery are very much there and improving all the time,so l hope you are able to take advantage and follow in my footsteps to a full recovery,

Hey thanks for the reply. I am feeling quite positive even though waiting for results but surgeon seemed positive.

i will take your comments on board am glad you have come out the other side.
