I dont know if it will help but im here in a similar situation to you. I developed dreadful reflux just before Xmas. Stool changes. Aches and pains in my abdomen. I have had multiple gp appointments where the gp just kept telling me to lose weight. He also put me on antidepressants and ppis which made the symptoms worse. Last week I requested to see a different GP who was fantastic. I now have an abdominal ultrasound, gastroscopy and stool tests booked within the next 2 weeks. Im terrified but so grateful I was finally taken seriously.

You are not alone and you should try and get a second opinion from a different gp. Or a 3rd or even a 4th!

yes i have pushed as i do not feel something is right. im going to be asking for an ultrasound and more bloods to check my bilburi levels aswell as a endsocopy. 

i hope your scan goes well and keep me up dated if youd like to.

i am so anxious all the time which in turn affects my eating . 

i havent lost weight well say 2lb but thats nothing and i dont vomit etc but the burping and reflux can get too much. 

i hope you get some answers x
