I'm sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis. I know that many of our members here will understand the shock that comes with receiving this kind of news. 

We do have some information on our website here that may be of help but I'd really suggest posting on this thread. We have an active number of members here on the forum who have or have had oesophageal cancer or who have a loved one who has had the same diagnosis. I'm sure that some of our members such as [@Hilts]‍ [@Redski]‍ [@Andi1947]‍ will be more than happy to share their tips and advice on diet. They may respond to your post here as I've tagged them into my reply but do have a look at the thread I've linked above and post a message there. They're a supportive group. 

If you or your wife wants to talk with one of our team of nurses you're most welcome to call them. I'm sure they will be happy to offer any advice, information, and support that they can. They're available Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm on 0808 800 4040.
