Triple negative breast cancef

Hi am new.., does anyone have this type

  • Xxx fantastic  I've had pink and purple hair before I'm gonna dye it lilac for now coz one if my neices has asked me to and I've asked one of my nephew's  to come wig shopping with me xx I'm being positive even though I'm terrified, honestly I said to my dad before I think one of his rottweilers has saved me because she's knocked the tumour from behind my nipple

  • Love the colour lilac good for you, think positive and stay strong, yes you are lucky you never know your dads dog could have saved you,it's strange how things happen. We all worry about the unknown and one you have spoken to the on and have a plan you will feel a lot better,I wrote a few questions down before I went which did help x

  • I have just been diagnosed too this Friday.

A bit difficult to get my head around it.

I only had an oncologist letter this July stating I had very low risk cancer after I had asked my GP if I was suitable for an oncogen DX test in early July this year.

I asked surgeon on Friday for a different oncologist to be I involved with my treatment as I was not expecting this diagnosis.

The oncologist categorically stated I was very low risk cancer .

Now my low risk cancer detected by mammogram last August 2021 has metastased from my right breast to my left breast and gone from a low risk cancer which was hormone positive to Triple A negative.

I am so confused at how this has come about.

I was told treatment would be removal of the 28mm tumour sometime soon followed by radiotherapy.

Im worried as I have lost faith in the oncologist.

  • Hi try not to lose faith I'm sure they know what they are doing, once you have discussed a plan with your oncologist,I've had chemo, then the op and after I had radiotherapy, after all that I had another 6 months of chemo which was in tablet form, each cancer is different although we are triple negative, they all have different treatments, you just have to keep strong and most importantly stay positive x

  • Thanks for your kind words.

I have no faith in the oncologist I had only been in contact with the once and that was a brief phone chat this March before the start of my radiotherapy when she rattled off a speil that was basically a tick box exercise.

I have just been told I have triple A negative and awaiting written letter from breast surgeon and date for operation.

I requested a change of oncologist.

I await to see what happens now

  • Yes go for a second opinion and see what they say,you have to be happy and comfortable with what they say x

  • Well I'm here we can all support each other through our journey's, I'm scared too hun it's not easy to hear them words hun .it must have been hard for you after they said low risk xx big hugs

  • Yes particular difficult after being told existing tumour in right breast was very low risk.

I am just trying to process this and waiting for an appointment date for the surgery to the left breast and another oncologist.

    Thanks for your support.

  • Hi sausage hope you are ok , is it triple negative or her2 negative ? X
