  • Hello Eegit and welcome to the Cancer Chat community.

I'm glad your treatment is keeping your cancer under control although I'm really sorry to hear what you went through towards the end of last year. That must have been very tough.

Fatigue and a lack of energy are common side effects from cancer treatment and as you'll see here, difficulty sleeping can occur when taking Herceptin, but if you're worried, do be sure to discuss this with your medical team when you see them next as they'll be in the best position to advise and help make this more manageable for you.

Our team of cancer nurses are available on 0808 800 4040, Monday - Friday between 9a.m - 5p.m if you'd like to speak with them about this as well.

Hopefully some of our members who have contended with similar will offer their thoughts and advice to you soon but in the meantime, we're thinking of you and hope your side effects improve soon.

    Kind regards,

    Steph, Cancer Chat Moderator
