I'm glad to hear you're making good progress with your treatment although I'm sorry about the tightness you're experiencing in your throat.
A soft diet can help if you are have difficulty swallowing or eating because of your cancer or its treatment. I hope this information will help but as Jess has said, do be sure to discuss this with your cancer team as they'll be in the best position to advise and provide you with pain relief for your throat.
