I also had 2ww referral for a mass to the soft palate .  I had a biopsy 2 weeks ago and get my reaults Tuesday .  the date was given to me the day I left hospital following my biopsy operation under general anaesthetic

I think it is pretty much normal procedure on timings  - the waiting game has messed with my head badly and I obtained medication from my GP to help me cope  - it helps but of course I am still scared beyond belief and pretty much think I  know the outcome from my own research

If things get too tough ask your GP for something to help you get through this anxious time of limbo

I am guessing the 2 weeks is the given time then. 
 

yeah I might give them a ring tomorrow. I'm juggling a full time job, my 6 year old son and the stress of this is just making everything worse :(

Hope you're doing ok today. I found a hard lump on my oropharynx last week and I'm really scared. So far I was put on urgent referral but I've only got a phone call appointment. I'm pushing to see someone in person. 

Did you have blood tests too?

Thanks for replying. I haven't had any blood tests as yet which suprises me, have they sent you for any? 
 

the wait is horrendous. So your telephone call was it with a consultant? Have they said you will get a face to face? I would push for one too. 
 

My referral went to from the GP for the 2WW and I was seen within 10 days at the hospital. I would ring you GP back if you don't get an appointment soon to be seen in person.

Hi There 

My lump waa to the oropharynx too ( soft palate for me) it was very sore and angry .  I was seen face to face by ENT so you should sway this with them too , stamp your feet if you have too

Also,  I have had no blood tests to date unless some was take when I was under GA for my biopsy , so I wouldnt be aware
