Cerazette

Hiya ... I've been on the pill cerazette for 13 years and just recently I've had brown stains for 2 weeks then a period bleed which can last for nearly 3 weeks. Never had any of this before. But this is now the 2nd time it's happened. I'm 34 this year no children as of yet. I'm not sure if it's to do with my age or it just time to come off the pill. Any thoughts?

    It is very much possible that this bleeding may be linked to the Cerazette pill but this is something you need to discuss with your GP. So give your doctor a call soon and mention that you've experienced this bleeding recently and whether it would be worth stopping the pill to see if it goes away or if they think it needs further investigation. 

    I hope that you find out soon what is causing these issues and that the doctor can advise you further on this.
