Hi everyone my name is Chris I'm 53 yr old lady diagnosed with stade 4 oesophageal adenocarcinoma last March had a brilliant response to OX chemo but now have 2 lymph nodes and a small peritoneal met.
I'm sorry to hear that you've had some unwanted news recently following your great response to treatment last year.
We've quite a number of members living with various stages of oesophageal cancer and I'd suggest having a look at this thread and posting there to introduce yourselves to them. They're a supportive group and I'm sure they'll respond to say Hello! and offer their support and advice.
There are a number of posts where hipec has been mentioned and you can find those using the forum search function (magnifying glass in the blue bar). Hopefully you will find some information in those posts to help but if you'd like to chat with one of our nurses then do give them a call.
