Edema

Hi, I'm looking for any advice or tips on reducing edema. I'm on diuretics which help but don't resolve. I try anything that I read about but nothing works.

I currentky have edema in the right leg, right side of face, abdomen and back plus I have an IPC (indwelling pleural catheter).

Basically I'm a walking wather balloon.

All advice woukd be much appreciated.

    I'm sorry to hear that you're living with such life-impacting side effects of your treatment. I can understand why you're wanting to try all options to reduce this edema. 

    I can see that you've posted in the Ask the Nurses topic area and that Nurse Catherine provided some information and links. 

    I'm unsure if we've any members here who are living with the same kind of problem but hopefully if anyone has any advice or experience to share with they will reply to your post. 

    I do hope that you're able to find a solution that will improve things for you.
