Hi,

so years ago I moved into a 1930/40 house no exact date sadly, in my bedroom there seems to be a popcorn roof that has been painted, I had never thought about asbestos being in it, I have a large tall wardrobe where I have put items on top of this, it's scaraped the roof and now concerned I have damaged the roof itself, I have been sleeping in the room for years and now I'm really concerned I have spread asbestos around my room and sleeping in it by scraping dust off from the bags rubbing against it and damaging it, has anyone got any advice? I've looked at the top and there is lots of dust but I don't know if it's just general dust or not and don't know how much it's spread,  I'm really concerned I've hurt my family by doing this
