Hi. I had a throat biopsy on 31st January due to a Lump in my neck on the left side. Found it before Xmas, whole left side was in pain could not swallow felt like I had a knife in my throat. Was so bad I could not swallow my own spit!  Ear crunching and the chills. Went to docs who was concerned, called local hospital who advised to give antibiotics. Took 12 tablets a day for 10 days and made me feel sick. Took them still didn't go down. Went back to gp, referred me to ent, they checked it and they can't work it out. Consultant words were this is interesting, and hasn't really seen anything quite like it put me down for biospy under general anesthesia. Go back on 4th march for results. The hospital worry is I have no infection and no tonsils so cannot understand why I have this big Ball of mass.  They left a quarter in my throat and when I go to my appointment they will tell me what they are going to do. The thing is two GPS and two ent consultants cannot really give me an idea of what it possibly could be, which kind of puts you on the edge.

But hospital and docs have been great. Been pushed through quite quickly. I went to ent on 13 Jan, same week got a call for my biopsy surgery.i also had a ct scan too. So will get all results on 4th march.
