Cervical/Uterine polyps

Hello during a routine smear 2 cervical polyps were noted. In a follow up with the gynaecologist he found 2 uterine polyps also.

I have been experiencing huge bladder pressure with no UTI but the gynae told me this was because my uterus is enlarged due to the polyps. I also told him I have discomfort 'down below' with itching, he said it's all related to the polyps.

Was due to have them removed today but I have Covid so the procedure has been cancelled 

Has anyone else had this discomfort and itchiness due to cervical polyps? My pap smear was clear, I tested negative for STDs and HPV. Could it be the frequent urination has caused irritation? He did a pelvic exam, something sinister in my vagina/area would have presented then wouldn't it?

    I'm sorry to hear that during your exams four polyps were found and that the procedure to have them removed was cancelled due to the pandemic.

    I hope you got sorted out.  Today I found myself in a similar position, routine smear and now a gynae referral.  Mind is spinning, I'm trying to focus on the what is and not the what if's - easier said than done.
