Mole and scared

Hi all I'm 35 and I've noticed my mole has turned red apparently it's 7mm ive not noticed any other changes except the colour in waiting for my hospital letter ,anxiety is really beating me I keep crying when my kids are in bed but one thing on my mind is my doctor said she was 99 9% it's not skin cancer,,thank you all

    Welcome to Cancer Chat. I'm sorry to hear of your worries, I know that it's never easy while waiting for appointments.

    Try to take things one day at a time while you wait, and focus on keeping busy as well as taking time for things you enjoy. Try not to dwell on it too much - I know this is easier said than done - or if you do think about it, focus on your doctor's opinion that they aren't too concerned.

    I hope it's not much longer for you to wait for your appointment.

    Hi there 

    Hope this will reassure you. 
    I was recently referred by my GP for rapid access to have a mole checked out ie was seen within 2 weeks as an urgent case. When I saw the consultant he referred me for an urgent biopsy however when my results came back they were clear so please try not to worry. I wish you all the best. X
