Hi I had a lump removed from my neck few weeks back ,was told it would take 3 months for the biopsy results to come back . Stressed out big time waiting.
I'm sorry to hear that you've recently had a lump removed and are now waiting on results.
Three months does seem like a long time to be waiting for results but we do know that some hospitals are experiencing backlogs and delays in the labs due to Covid problems. Hopefully the hospital has given you a "worst-case scenario" in terms of the amount of time that you'll be waiting and you will actually have some news much sooner.
We do know that waiting for results can be a difficult time and it's natural to feel anxious. It can sometimes help to talk things through with someone and so you're welcome to call our nurses.
