Hi,
Hope, it's OK to ask for advice. In December I discovered a lump on the side of my neck about the size of a pea, maybe slightly bigger. Over the course of a week it grew so I went to the doctors. He discovered a rash on the side of my head (same side as lymph node). I had been scratching this alot and there was broken skin. The Dr prescribed me a steroid lotion which seemed to clear the infection up. The lump has reduced in size but it hasn't totally gone (it's been about 1 month since I last saw the Dr but over 6 weeks since discovery. It is flat in shape and I'm not sure whether it is movable or not. I have no other symptoms and I was sent for bloods and which were clear. My anxiety has been through the roof and I can also feel small pea sized lumps in my groin area. I am quite lean in this area as I do alot of running and weight lifting. I have felt a couple of nodes in the past but I haven't gone in search for any. On feeling around I have around 6 or 7 on each side. Not painful but I'm not sure if they are meant to be there or not. I can also feel one or two in my armpits.
I keep pressing the one in my neck all the time so I'm not sure if I'm aggravating it as today I could feel a sort of burning sensation.
I would be most grateful if there's anyone with advice or similar experiences. I'm a 42 year old male.
