BCC Scare

Hi everyone.

 

As someone who suffers with health anxiety I am getting increasingly paranoid about a lesion on my lower leg that has been there for over a year and doesn't seem to heal. It is slightly raised. 

 

Could only get phone consultation with doctor but sent photos. He felt it was nothing to be concerned about but images I see online as examples of BCC make me think this is a possibility and I am stressing out.

 

Doctor said but Germolene on it. Have an appointment but until next Wednesday. 

 

Would anyone be willing to look at images of my leg. I'm so worried!

    Hi this may not or may help but I went to ent yesterday and I suffer from panic attack’s badly and I’m a natural worrier like you the lady has sent me for blood tests and a ct scan why she said to be sure it’s not lung cancer etc so I have been googling my images of my mouth tonsils etc and I believe it’s bad. I asked the doctor today via a telephone conversation and all he said was don’t worry and guess what I’m now cr.pping myself and I have to wait now 2weeks for the ct scan what I’m trying to say even if someone dose look at your photos you still going to be thinking the worst lastly forgive me as I no my spelling is terrible and I wish you all the luck in the world as this is not nice

    Just to let you know that unfortunately no one here will be able to look at the images of your leg as our terms and conditions do not allow for photos to be uploaded on the forum for the purpose of diagnosis. No one here will be in a position to give you a medical opinion but you did the right thing to send photos to your doctor who will have the expertise to comment on these pictures. It's reassuring that your doctor felt it was nothing to be concerned about and I hope that your appointment next Wednesday confirms this.

    Everything crossed for you that it turns out to be nothing of concern.
