Lump on collarbone

Hi All,

Just looking for any info from anyone affected from the same.

Noticed a lump just above the collarbone but feels attached to it. Had a chest X-ray which showed large lymph node in the neck and lung.

Then had a CT scan which didn't seem to concern them but was referred to get a ultrasound and biopsy of the lump on collarbone, now had the dreaded call to say it is cancerous and have been book in for a endoscopy (if it's spelt like that lol) to have a look at stomach.
Just wondered if anyone has been through the same and and what was the outcome.
thanks

Mick

  • Hi Mick

Sorry to hear about your results. I am currently experiencing the same and awaiting my CT scan.

could I ask if your lump was hard or soft? Mine feels compleatly solid almost as if it's part of my bone.

hope your everything goes okay from here on.

    thanks

    Lols

  • Hi Lols,

My lump is quite hard and right on the collarbone, the original lump has shrunk but another one larger appeared next to it.

Good luck with your scan and hopefully it's nothing to worry about as lymph nodes can enlarge for many reasons. Let me know how it goes.

     Thanks

    Mick
