Blood cancer and covid

Hi my name is jeff and I've had blood cancer since July 2010 and had chemotherapy from November 2010 until April 2011 and I've been in good health most of the time but now I have covid and I'm not feeling too good to be honest and I am a little bit concerned over the colour of my urine it's orange and I never really thought about it until today so I guess what I'm looking for is some kind of reassurance as it's scary

I will get in touch with 111 soon and see what they advise sorry if I seem confused I'm trying to remain calm and positive and just needed to chat with people who can share things with so thanks so much for reading this and I appreciate you being there bless you all

  • Bizarre question, but how's your poo?

Is it a normal colour? I had this a good few years ago, like about 20 years ago and mine turned out to be liver inflammation caused by antibiotics I was on at the time.

Liver problems, if they're causing urine issues, can cause bowel issues too. If your poo is a very light colour (white-ish/yellow/mustard) and floating with or without being accompanied by pale stools, it may be something to do with your liver.

All that said, covid is a weird thing. It can cause all strange and bizarre symptoms so it may just be the virus itself.

Or it could be something very simple as being dehydrated. That too can cause dark and orangey urine. Try to drink more water and see how it goes.
