Of course it's worth it, and so much more sweetheart. I've been diagnosed with triple negative IDC, and I fully believe it is curable! I've not started treatment yet, but from what I've read on here, I don't think anyone has had any sort of chemo and come away unscathed. Some say they have sailed through the first half, and felt groggy to a point where not a day went by where they felt very unwell on the second half. It differs from person to person
Do you have friends/family you can talk to? If not speak to your BCN, tell them what is bothering you. They maybe able to help.
Thank you for your feed back I spoke to my consultant today and I have to stop treatment for six weeks as it's made my teeth so loose I have dentist on Friday xxx
I am so sorry to hear this. Did your consultant say whether or not they might be able to give you another type of chemo, or immuno therapy instead? There are people who weigh up the odds and decide that the side-effects are not worth the gain, but this needs to be carefully weighed up first. Write down any questions you have for the next time that you see your consultant and see what advice you get.
