Hi I'm Jean - ( Lynx ) every name I tried out was taken & mostly I think I still have chemo fog at times I was beside myself what can I use as a name & I looked around & I saw a box of Lynx for ladies so I thought that'll do cause I can't think of anything as it was all gone even my favourite amethyst as that's my birth stone , but here I am I finally got my membership up & running ,
I was diagnosed with NHL B Cell which turned out to be Burkitt's lymphoma , I had 16 weeks in hospital , 2 weeks at one hospital & the rest at another , the staff there was great , couldn't ask for a nicer Haematology team , caring loving supportive , compassionate & would spend time with you if you needed them if they weren't run off their feet , which was almost always ,poor girls & my 1 male.staff ,..poor soul surrounded by all those females , then he got me , I believe because I was in major denial I was murder , crying all the time , wanting home to my boys , it wasn't cancer , how could it be physio was telling me for long enough you haven't got a sore back it's all in your head.
Well 2 weeks after being in hospital & MRI/CT Scans another CT Scan & a biopsy they found out what it was , definitely not in my head and definitely a sore back , im now clear of cancer and fingers crossed , I had a PET Scan on Friday and I go and seey consultant on Thursday , so here's hoping for good news , my story so far if there is anyone out there that had the same diagnoses as me I'd love to hear from you.. thank you for taking the time to read this Xx
