  • Hi Spudta

I'm not an expert and I'm on here as I'm worried about breast pain.  I've just seen your post and would say definitely go and see the doctor.

I had this before and it was nothing serious but you need to get it investigated to rule out anything sinister.  It could be a number of things not necessarily the C.

  • Fresh blood is a lot less of a worry then dark gloopy blood. And just a teaspoon full will turn the pan pink/bright red. It's probably piles, though you would normally know because it would be uncomfortable. The most sensible thing is to get it looked at, but I suspect you'll be sent away with laxatives/creams/etc, unless it persists.

I've been exactly where you are and gone round the houses with doctors, cameras up the bottom, banding, and eventually an operation. All for piles. At no time was the C word even used, and this is probably three or four hours of talking to various professionals over a number of years.  Touch wood, the operation sorted me out. The only difference between you and me is I was in my early 40s at the time. Get it looked at for your own mental well being, if nothing else.
