I ended up in the gynaecology oncology clinic as enlarged ovarian cysts were found during a colonoscopy, l had all the scans and tests to exclude cancer, my surgeon then advised surgery. I was fortunate to have this oncology surgeon as l had extensive adhesions that required a 4 1/2 hrs procedure to free them. She said most surgeons would have bailed out out on my adhesions. I would be pleased that you are being seen by oncology as they are really though. Even in this time of Covid restrictions l had my op in 12 weeks. I am still recovering but glad it's over. And my biopsies were benign. 

on my track record don't be alarmed by your oncology referral they treat patients with out cancer.

I think it was just a shock. But I agree what you say try not to worry I'm a big believer in what will be will be.. I can't change anything but I just have to be patient xx
