Sister in very last stages of battle with ovarian cancer

Hello,

My beautiful sister is within hours of losing her battle with ovarian cancer, aged 52. Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 2 years ago, it had spredad extensively. She thought she was in remission but 4 months ago to be told there was a bone tumour was in her pelvis, which has subsequently spread rapidly through her spine and now to her brain. The pain she has indured is excruciating and the doctors and nurses in Austria have been exceptional. It has been so difficult for our family who live in Ireland and England to travel to Austria to constantly see her in this pain, the decline, and all of the symptoms that come with dying

  • Hello SOB

I'm so very sorry to hear about your sister's diagnosis and at the time of you writing your post, she was struggling so much. It's good to hear that the medical care she has had has been so good although clearly it's been an incredibly difficult time for you all.

Know that the forum is here for you to reach out for support and to chat with others who have been through similar with loved ones.

Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

    Best wishes,
